The Roc The Bloc Juneteenth Festival at Raymond James Stadium was everything our culture deserves — powerful, joyful, organized, and overflowing with community love. From the moment I arrived, Landa and the entire staff made sure me and my media team were taken care of. It was smooth, warm, and professional from start to finish.
Huge love to iHug Brands for holding me down all day and to Day Seviin, my photographer, who captured every moment with intention. And shoutout to DJ LadyShay and DJ Dadson for keeping the energy high and the vibes flowing.
One of the most surreal parts of the day was walking through the Buccaneers’ tunnel and locker rooms before my performance. Standing in that space — where champions walk — reminded me how far we’ve come and how much more we’re building.
The performances were beautiful. Jade Novah lit up the stage with her voice and presence, and Tom G had the whole stadium moving as he taught the crowd his new Tampa‑born line dance. It felt like family — laughing, dancing, learning, celebrating.
As an attendee, the festival was full of love, amazing food aromas, and Black‑owned vendors showing excellence. As a performer, it was seamless, supportive, and unforgettable.
Thank you again to Bolaji Ajike and the entire Roc The Bloc team for the opportunity to perform and to stand in front of the community as a reminder of what we can create together. This festival is more than an event — it’s a cultural anchor for Tampa Bay and a gift to future generations.
